Caught in a whirlpool of doubt.
Are you brave enough to pull us all out?

My heart is quivering in your trembling hands.
Skin Shivering against the cold steel.
Chameleon, barriers we’ve learnt to conceal.
A little wishful thinking to keep on living.

Why? Why taunt me this way?
It's always like this, the crushing silence.
A barrier I cannot break!
I, I want him to see me.
A point of difference to cross this distance
Love me, look at me, leave me be!
Anxious! I wait for him to make his escape.

Do I deserve to be loved?

This amber coloured dream,
I wait with bated breathe, for star-lit skies.

My skin turned pale at the thought of losing you…..

Maybe I’ve doomed us all.
(Smothered by hope.)
